Crazy highway car chase in OC, California!
As we are all told, the new Helang Lebuhraya Mitsubishi Lancer Evos purchased by the police are to be used for high-speed chases. While it would be exciting to see one I really can’t think of any way to see one in real life without you being in danger yourself. Have you seen a high speed chase in real life before? I know all I’ve seen are chases in movies, but here’s one that happened in real life just over a week ago!
47 year old Peggy Ann Boesing first allegedly tried to run over officers with her car and then led Californian highway cops on a high speed chase in her Scion that went all the way from Long Beach to Rancho Santa Margarita. It lasted about an hour, from 6am to 7am. In efforts to lose the cops, she even went the opposite direction on a highway!

First, our plus highway do not have that many direction to spin your car.
Second, our other highway will have a lot of “blockage” aka tolls.
Third, there is unlikely to spin around KL like tat.
Lastly, however, if theres any, is PDRM gonna smash their EVO into a kancil like tat? O.o

the scion xb she was driving was the old model. it is also known as the toyota bb and naza did bring in a few of those a few years ago. the new xb looks different but still boxy. it is sold in singapore as the daihatsu materia and competes with cars like the new nissan cube, suzuki sx4 and the kia soul.

p1 should do this kind of advert for exora.. imagine some nasty makcik high on wheel with her new exora..police give a chased with their old mitsu and non-cps waja, but way too behind the exora.. they then call their new s80 and lancer to give a chase but the makcik drift left and right on sharp corner perfectly that make the chaser langgar pokok and and some crash into bus stop. police then call their xc90 vip escort to give a chase, the xc90 close enough to kiss the bumper of exora when suddenly the makcik make a sharp u turn, both exora and xc90 rollover but only the exora back to its tyre with no kemek at all. the xc90 got some kemek and cannot back to stand position. police dunno what to do, they contact their gov contact who happened to be the chairman of mat rempit assoc. out of nowhere, come 200 mat rempit gave a chase to the makcik with their jap model ( got some modenas too but left behind, not in tv screen ). the mat rempits close enough when suddently the makcik spin the exora, all the mat rempit fly out with their rempit machine. not giveup, the police then call their new neo-cps team… haiyya.. out of idea oredi.

Having lived there before, I assure you this is totally normal in Southern California. Whenever this happens (as much as once a week at times) all the local channels switch live to some car chase that they follow with their news choppers. Usually it’s some lame chase that ends after a while with the guy surrendering but sometimes it is quite good. I think the big difference is every channel there has helicopters to use whereas here the cameras get there only after the chase is over (and usually all the suspects shot dead already
) Sometimes they even have near-misses in the sky over chases cause too many police and news helicopters haha.
If you really wanted to see it in real life Paul, there are even some crazy people who find out where the chase is from tv then go and try and see for themselves from the roadside or flyovers lol
BTW those California Highway Patrol cars may look slow but they’re all running 250hp 400nm 4.6L V8 with HD suspension so not too bad for ordinary patrol cars. And much better for PITing a car than something as delicate as a Lambo or Evo. The CHP pursuit cars are 5.0L lightweight Mustangs.
motorcycles, cars, even stolen 7up drinks lorry being chased, a guy with a stolen army tank chasing police, Heat-style bank shootout with AK-47 gunmen vs police, huge crashes, guy committing suicide with a shotgun on closed freeway, all these things have happened uncensored on LIVE TV. Better than any movie, and free!
Funny enough, despite all this, normal day-to-day driving feels much more dangerous here in Malaysia

u forgot..the makcik stop the exora and yelling at the police that left far behind with baju kurung kedah and kain batik, she yelling and yelling, after the cops came close, the makcik, jump to the exora seat and drive aways with full of speed and no to forget the exora is prime edition…All the mat rempit die already and the police got no idea cos the makcik’s exora too fast to handle, luckily the police call the extra unit..the lorry hantu….highway, jalan kampung, kawasan sekolah, jalan tanah merah..maximum speed no problem!…then all the lori hantu gathering at the R&R as usually discussing on how to block the makcik with powerful exora…not to forget the towing gang also there cos the lori n towing gang are friends…while gathering..all the taxis with no meter also arrive….tha chief of lori hantu, lori pasir driver, said “this time we will and must sacrifice to the police, we must help them, last time my licence die also can kaw tim” the evebody agree…. once they got information the do a road block at persiaran kewajipan subang…normally without road block the jam are about 2 hour for 1 km, now almost 24 hour for 1 km…then the makcik came close to the road block, u turn cannot, behind entire IPD there…hohohoh the makcik masak sudah….then she brake, and with the powerfull brake and effectiveness of lotus engineering handling..she stop without sliding..then……(aiyooo sudah pukul 5 mau balik..next time la continiu…:) )

How do you know? The Police KPI maa less acceleration less fuel consumption. longer chase time more OT. Itu pasal la those police never kick down the acceleration to the max… Another thing that lady using Toyota engine with VVTi…. so no care about consumption…
any way the chase will be more dramatic, than just a simple spike strip like NFS…
