The Castrol Magnatec roadshow will be happening at various venues from the 17th of April 2009 to the 14th of June 2009 throughout the Peninsular of Malysia. It will be at the Berjaya Megamall Kuantan on the 22nd to the 24th this month, AEON Tebrau City, Johor Bahru (29 – 31 May), and Centre Atrium, Queensbay Mall, Penang (5 – 7 June).

There will be a big kiosk-like thing in the shape of an engine block claled the Castrol Magnatec Centrepiece at the roadshow to illustrate how 75% of engine wear and tear happens during the first 15 minutes of starting the car and how important a good lubricant is to help reduce this wear and tear.

Of course you will learn how Castrol Magnatec’s “Intelligent Molecules” cling onto engine parts like magnets to ensure there is a layer of protection still available on vital engine parts even after a long night or period of not being used, where engine oil normally slowly drops down to the bottom.

Of course there are also some other activities such as the ‘Night of Mystery’ PC game, Undercover Challenge PS3 game, ‘Protect Your Car’ game, Intelligent Molecule game and prizes to be won such as Nokia handphones, iPod Touch, exclusive Castrol Magnatec merchandise, and Castrol Magnatec engine oil.

Castrol is also going big on video this year – right after the Castrol Speed Challenge earlier this year, they’re having a video submission contest. Participants who submit the most popular and creative video from each location onto Youtube will win an iPod Touch. More info on this at the roadshow locations.

Magnatec? One of the most frequent imitated lube in the market right now. I’ve stopped using Magnatec for years due to being cons too many time.
