Play safe? IMO, that Nuvolari single grille face is the most daring, ambitious and revolutionary design which wouldn’t look outdated for a few more years. The grille is the signature and face of Audi. It is aggressive. It has presense. It would take one hell of a re-design to overshadow what Nuvolari grille has done for Audi in nearly a decade now.

One thing I don’t like about sedan Audi’s is the front overhang which is quite long.

some fella here just loves being mean…, does that mean i can be mean too??although not morally appropriate, as an immature teenager, there is an urge..kk lets start….high quality but, nonetheless a gas guzzling hedonist bland “lan si” car for cocks…the interior is cluttered, too many details, it makes my eyes go uuuuhhhhhhhhaaaahhhh rolling rolling.., into deeper details, the A pillar sux, grille looks loke a yawning buffalo, lamps like old mans eyes, overall pretty much overrated…ok, so do i need an “optometrist advice for my eyes” to help me with my overly shallow and chauvinistic point of view???, coz according to me…a proton is an even better car, simple, non gass guzzling, non hedonistic car for the masses..

the fella concerned, do feel free to hit me bac with your ow so fair wisdom, but my advice is dont bother coz i wont really giv a sh** either…

Loved ‘Ronin’ with the S8 too. One of the best car chase movies of all time. Has anyone watched “Taken”? Awesome shots of the A8 there. Just look at that car in the movie. It still looks thoroughly modern and sexy even though the replacement is coming out shortly. The lines and proportions are all just perfect.

That is so true man, in fact the only reason i remember ronin was because of the S8.Very awesome audi. Should have used it during the chase scene instead of the peugeot.

Audi formula has always been keeping style to just above minimum but performance extraordinary. It doesn’t have to have a loud styling like beemers or merc but still look like weapon grade tech and handsome styling.

if you need to have an “art” to distinguish different audi models.. its definitely near impossible to know which model is which. and dean did say “common folks”. There are even “common folks” who cannot distinguish a 3series between a 5 series. and you dont need any special skills or an art imho to do that.

Jason Statham never had it better than in this movie. But then, it is a Luc Besson movie, (psst; he’s got an awesome wife). Makes me want to get a black suit. Not so sure about the tie.

If you’re in the biz world, a Merc is soooo last century. An Audi doesn’t come with the image baggage that you’d associate with a Stuttgart model. At least Audi remembers the rest of the world and not just design it for US peeps like Munich does. It retains that Conti edginess which both competitors plain just forgot. Its fresh. Its awesome. Its cool. Especially in Black. Ask the Chinese.

i was just telling my friends how the Audi’s have not evolved in shape since the advent of the B5 A4 … and there is not much to tell in terms of difference from the A8 down to the A4.

and isn’t the W12 a somewhat old engine? i remembered it was first introduced sometime in the beginning of the millenium? no?
