10months ok la..but my bf got it for less than 3 months..just got it 3weeks ago.hahha..potong queue,,sorry ha….through one of the royalty from east coast.frankly,damn nice car,dude.turbo engine some more.i can high beam all the cars infront of me except beemer 5series la…hehhehe

Hey guys just reading your comments with a smile. I own a q5 TDI 2.0 DSG with seven gears automatic and its a sheer pleasure to drive. The MMI is superb it connects to your phone via bluetooth so you phone can be on your body or anywhere it connects the minute you sit in the car. MMI has many mor functions like cd,dvd, navigation… car set up tv and of course side assist, lanse assist as well as dynamic drive which slowers the car when the car in front slows without you doing anything- this is controlled with the radar device installed in the car … is an extra. Panaromic view, 3 zone aircons are othe attractions …. should i go on ?? Its a wee bit expensive .. check it out !!

I am contemplating whether to add the panoramic sunroof. Some people say that it will cause leaking problem in a few years time as the rubber will wear off. And it is hot too even if you close the curtain.

Advice please.

i think the price is juz ridiculous!! if u want a small 5 seater SUV wit a posh badge, might as well get the Freelander..its more than 20 grand cheaper, and a far more capable car.. its got a really good diesel engine n mated 2 that also excellent 6 speed autobox, its a really good combo.. plus, it really does have some offroad capability!! yes, the audi does have that awesome 2.0L turbo engine, n a 7 speed DSG gearbox n a much nicer interior, but the Landie's got a really good package too..

2 me, on balance, the Freelander makes much more sense than this..

There is a button on the tailgate which if you press, automatically closes the boot. Handy if you have your hands full or you dont have the strength or too short to reach the lip of the tailgate to slam it shut Expensive option though!

I've been expecting it to be around RM400k, but with DSG and quattro, the RM299k seems like a value buy for an Audi.

I would say that if you could afford to spend fifty grand more, you might as well get the Audi. By doing so, you get the S-Tronic / DSG gearbox (Tiguan has a regular 6 speed transmission), a much more powerful engine (the VW's powerplant puts out 147kw and does 0-100 in 8.5 seconds) and the Q5 will have a longer shelf life since its European launch was in November 2008 (the Tiguan was launched in Europe in November 2007).

say what you like, mazda CX7 has better design and style, I like the CX7 anytime. Q5– not so standout, look quite a water black buffalo, not sure how hardy it is. Cannot beleive totally from those reports, time will tell it's reliablity, Audi parts & services.

costs a wee bit more than a Vellfire but offers less space. Vellfire rocks !!! But not the petrol consumption tho.
