I am doing research buying a new car now….in the end…alt the cars has problems, all the SC sucks. So why pay more if you’re still gonna face the same problems???

The other people who keeps complaining what Proton rebadge blah…Perodua is 100% rebadge, so?? It is a known fact that a small country like us with minimal population very hard to support an automotive industry. It was a wrong decision by the Malaysia’s longest serving dictator(oopss…i mean PM), but now we are stuck with it. Frankly, Proton cars in recent years are pretty good…it was the QC and SC that is let down…it is simple…too many contracts to UMNO cronies supplier….so what can you do?? Previously the merger talk with VW didn’t falls through because VW wants to have controlling stake and management control. If this happens, actually, it’ll be good for Proton, because no more crony business.

So the best you can do now (if you have no money) is to buy a Cheap Proton, vote out UMNO next GE, and hopefully, remove protectionism and all shit crony suppliers. Then we will really see improvement in Proton cars.

I wonder it sure takes hell of a courage to state these 3 words for a car maker who had only been assembling cars, strictly speaking, for other car makers, but using its own badge.

Pride. Proton sure has it but cuz they “managed” to re-badge a car so “beautifully”!

Progress? Proton is sure getting better and better on “Ctrl + C” then “Ctrl + V” on their keyboard.

Passion? hmmm…. i guess Proton has it, too, cos they have spent hell lot of time to talk to the plastic moulding firm to come out with the engine plastic cover, steering wheel cover, front grille badge and the trunk badge.

This is a one obvious move to tell the whole world that “We at Proton, is running out of idea and expertise to produce a decent car and this is the only way to keep us afloat.”.

Saya pun nyaris order Lancer GT tu, tanya kat showroom dan buat research sikit, saya hold dulu ,sehinga sah Proton akan guna Lancer replace Waja. Jadi ori ket ciplak ke, janji Enjin Mitsu 1.8, Rekabentuk Lancer, Chasis lancer, dan yang penting sekali,,40K++ lebih murah, ak payah bayar loan loan mencekik darah tu!!

Coz Malaysian love Mitsubishi!boring…anyway i love Korea cars!good looking,class,sporty and lower price!

Please don’t tell me Proton now cut cost in R&D and just thinking about profit but low in quality and poor after sales & service. by the way i’m not a Proton Basher i’m using Proton car for 10 years. Cograts to Proton you make others smiling.

fyi, we are still using gas to generate electric. so hybrid (electric hybrid in this case.) are still depending on the gas. to charge them
