The only problem is reliability. MEM needs to learn more about the car as the rally seasons go by. But already in the Rally of Russia it is as quick as the European cars..

Isn’t Proton have done many impossible to possible? Why not to the simple one? I just asking the Savvy as 4door compact hatchback 1.0L~1.3L campro with sporty design.

Why I only ask for Proton? Because Perodua no hope for me and I am seeking my funny Savvy replacement, or else I am go to another brand, but oversea maker are so bloody s*cking, why I should pay more? Should I finally go to Perodua?

Exora, with European technology, japanese design and malaysian price (correct me if i'm wrong), collaborate with mitsu for long term plan and now u r asking for Satria neo with 4doors?, making the new Satria Neo 4 doors hatchback is not a simple thing, unless u provide an investment for new R&D and a new mould… it's not cost only RM10-1000… and I had heard a "rumour", just rumour ok, next year Proton will rebadge mitsu new compact hatchback, that was new Colt.. 4 doors and come with sporty design.. how bout that?

the strangest thing is, the guy who crashed into the tree is actually Guy Wilks.. the very same guy driving for Proton now. but that swift was a Super 1600, or Junior World Rally Car class, it makes 200bhp from 1.6 litres.. Wilks finished 2nd in the championship in that car. He is definitely a very good driver.

Suzuki did try to enter the WRC, but due to budget constraints, had to pull out completely. The team was led by none other than 'monster' tajima, who used to race in malaysia as well.

Not all rally team build thier own major component(gearbox,engine,suspension,etc,) in-house.

Peugeot used Hewland and X-trac,same as Ford(X-trac)Citroen(Getrag,now they shifted to X-Trac)and to name a few.Buliding gearbox is not easy as said even major company like BMW,Mercedes,Land rover,etc. seeks gearbox specialist company like ZF.So i think it is natural for Proton to X-trac gear box for this rallycar.
