A beautiful car and powerful.

Most of the nissan car come with strong and efficient engine. My 3rd uncle own Sentra 1.8, and this one feel more powerful than the Accord 2.4 (own by my youngest uncle). We suspect the 5 speed auto gearbox contribute to under power feel when traveling in north south highway.

A very beautiful car.

Friend of mine driven his friend 2.4 Accord and he claim he cannot overtake the Gen2 in front of him. And now my uncle confirmed his 2.4 Accord 5 speed Auto is like no power in north south highway

If its like a BMW 5 series with a Hyundai price then I don't care what brand it is. I am just afraid that this is wannabe 5 series which is nowhere near with Hyundai price.

Acura is just a rebadge honda with lots of goodies you don't normally find on a honda

Somehow after reading the piece on the RR Ghost, this one seems stale.
Anyway stick with the Germans in this class and you'll not go wrong. 5 series for driving and MBenz for comfort. Thats it.

if the pricing is not too far away... people will choose continental car of course. Nissan brand name still far behind Lexus, not to mention the B's and A.

What this is basically is a high end BMW 5 series with the price of a Hyundai.

I don't see anything wrong with them. Having sampled a few examples of them (the G35/G35x and the awesome understated Q45) they do give buyers an alternative for a sporty Japanese supersaloon.

I prefer the interiors of the Infiniti, they are much more sporty yet luxurious than than the equivalent Acura.

Infiniti always had that querky design. From the oddball J30 to the animalistic FX SUVs, they do really stand out.

KT.
Where these are sold, cars as status symbols are less important. People want better value for their car purchase. This gives these relatively newcomers in the luxury class a biting chance. Just because you are BMW or Mercedes, doesn't mean people will buy you on default.

But lets face it, in these times of platform sharing, anything developed good enough for Inifity would probably eventually filter down to its lesser Nissan cars. (case in point the Camry and Lexus ES300, Lexus gets economies of scale, and the Camry got a better platform to work with )
