It's just a freak accident. Can't blame Brawn at all for it. But definitely something could be done to improve safety especially driver head protection. Massa's incident shook F1 because the weekend before Henry Surtees died in F2 with a similar type of incident. A stray wheel hit Surtees head, head-on. So its definitely a wake up call for safety eventhough this type of incident is actually very rare. In 2007 there was a scary incident involving Alex Wurz and Coulthard. A few inches the wrong way and Wurz would have been dead. If anyone recalls it was the Melbourne F1 I think where Coulthard's car lifted and slid across Wurz's cockpit over the steering wheel (and his fingers) and just missing his head. Very scary.
