Mitsubishi and Peugeot have finalised its EV agreement where Mitsubishi will be supplying PSA Peugeot Citroen with an electric car for the European market based on the Mitsubishi i-MiEV. Both Citroen and Peugeot-badged vehicles will be available, and production will start in October 2010, with a launch happening shortly after.

Will this be made available in Malaysia? But we're still without support right when it comes to EV? Would make the country a little less hotter if everyone's using EV, but that's wishful thinking.

Looks dated if you ask me. Expect some nip-tuck from Peugeot to freshen things up.

Mitsubishi is not only supply engines to many car manufacturers (including China-based & P1 previously) but also supplying the whole car as well! Looks more like OEM company.

And they can have their own line of vehicles. Very smart.

It would great if this can be made available here with a price dat is affordable (unlike the Prius) providing an alternative. If we are going to be environmentally conscious … Vehicles of such genre ought to be reachable to the masses instead of being a premium product owned by a select few. Mother is gonna need more help in that venue … Haiz~! When will we ever learn?

Many of my friends like to have EV n me too but, do you think petrol producer will be happy? This will cut down their profit n tax to gov too.

Some one there will try to prevent or delay .. with false pretenses.
