The product that they churn out is not. No wonder the X6 is made in the US. If you really look at it, the EU puts Fiat and Peugeot on that list of marques who make green cars. If they made and sell more of the X5 and above, they'd totally flunked it. Why would anybody think that you could trust a Green Index from a country who didn't sign the Kyoto agreement? Instead of monitoring and controlling what comes out of their flue stack, they try to find some kind of way to show they are environmentally conscious. Don't believe the hype. Come on! You look at an X6 and don't you think there is WAAAAAYY too much metal to lug around? No way its ever going to be greener than a Japanese car. You need to be rich in order to be sustainable. Cheap usually is not sustainable.China products for example are manufactured with lots of waste. Same thing with those organic/fairtrade thing.
