Lexus is really the pioneer in this. The RX 400h had stop / start with an auto back in 2005.

Yes, OK, its an e-CVT, but that's just as much an 'auto' as S-Tronic…..

A3 TDI: 250 Nm at 1500 rpm, 0-100 kmh: 11.4s, top speed 194 km/h

Vios: 141Nm at 4200rpm, 0-100 kmh: 12.5 secs and 174 km/h.

Audi's hatch is not "hot" enough. Very safe design aka "lame design"

i believed VW/SEAT does better in hatch segment.

It's amazing that the European car manufacturers are

taking the lead to produce such fuel efficient cars instead

its Japanese counterparts. We have this mindset that Japs

are more fuel efficient. Hopefully we get to see more TDI

models at our shores and hopefully they can run on Euro2.
