Nissan Latio facelifted in Thailand, where’s ours?
Nissan has launched facelift versions of the Latio hatchback and sedan in our neighbouring country of Thailand, where the two models are called the Tiida and Tiida Latio respectively. The facelift has already been out for quite sometime actually, on sale in its country of origin Japan and even Singapore.
Basically Nissan has found a grille that ‘works’ along the way of its various experimentation with styling and are now sticking the Nissan Murano’s grille onto pretty much everything they have. Edaran Tan Chong Motor has yet to do anything about its locally assembled Latio and Latio Sport here.
The front grille is differentiated between the sedan and hatchback by its colour – dark and light grey respectively. There is also a new front bumper design. Look after the jump for a gallery of nice images that Nissan Thailand sent over.

anyway, its minor changes to the exterior and interior, engine wise nothing different. maybe we get ours next year?
latio isnt selling well either way, due to the overrated vios and again, the segment overkiller pug 308.

Huh?! What facelift?! Very hard for me to observe (maybe the girls make me cannot concentrate).
So many years Tan Chong has been building boring Nissan locally, this is just another boring lift from previous face. Nonetheless quality wise they are one of the best in CKD form. With high trade-in price and high 2nd hand value, they are still far behind T&H. Would this facelift help?

alo everyone. ya, the lady that presented the Latio looks sweet, thumbs up. oh ya anyway, any info that Navara with 6 speed manual will be on sale here cos I saw Nissan’s recent billboard shows new Navara with manual transmission… and also hope to see the new Pathfinder on our road, it seem the Navara looks more handsome with station wagon form.

New Grill or new Girls? Seems like nobody cares about the grills, haha! The headlight is so so so so so so ugly, just the butt is tight, the rest is so saggy. God honest, even the new viva elite is better looking. Nissan is so stingy with their good designs, only put good designs on GTRs and Fairlady. For midsizer, we better go for Vios or City(Honda go all out with their design).
