In United States mazda 3 is just about 16kUSD convert to rm just about <50k, In Malaysia it's price about rm110k…where goes to rm60k if not to govt's pocket…Pls la malaysian do think about it…

Now The BN G wanted to review fuel subsidy…to ensure that only the right people benefitted.

Shit…..Now I am not entitled for the fuel subsidy!!!! F@#* the G. Part of my money was used to subsidised the bloody fuel by I'm not entitled to get the subsidy!! Screw the Government!

You finish paying the car in 12 years and in 3 years' time, you're subject to yearly inspections. Who'd wanna trouble themselves to buy your car knowing that?

I also can't help but compare us to South Korea. In the 70s, our GDP and per capita income were on par. Like us, SK also has protectionist policies and crony conglomerates (many of which failed badly during the 97 crisis). But unlike us, they don't have oil. Yet see where they are now and where we are.

Even with all that oil, tin, rubber, palm oil, timber money we can't even move ourselves closer to SK's standards? By right we should've overtaken them in all industries. What happened to all that money?

agreed with you about the tax. i for one think that the tax is appropriate, considering us didn’t have to pay other taxes compared to other countries…

i remembered watching a movie Pursuit of Happyness (Will Smith)…it’s based on a true story about Chris Gardner; now he’s a millionaire. there was this part where the govt just took the money from his bank account for tax he can’t afford to pay (and that time he didn’t even had a job)…

p/s: u all shud see how he struggles and thrives as one of a well-known broker…from a homeless father with a small child…

- Watched that, Its true that we don’t have to pay other tax but we do not get unemployment benefit as well. Children there get to go college and Uni at very low cost compare to here where the quota for non Bumi is so low. Even with good result some cant study what they wan. The thing is we pay much tax such as when purchasing car but in return we get back much less compare with others. Btw if I’m not mistaken, Malaysia is the longest ever country to be in developing stage. Reason?
