Renault reveals the sporty Clio S

Renault has unveiled the new Clio S that is now available for order and is scheduled to hit showrooms in March. This new model is revived from the early 90s and features white 16-inch ‘Polar’ alloy wheels, a white front bumper insert, a white ‘GT’ rear spoiler, extra tinted rear windows and a tailgate, exterior wise.

Inside the sporty 3-door Clio S has a bespoke interior with ‘S’ embossed upholstery, leather steering wheel and striking white centre console, dashboard inserts and instrument dials. With its Expression trim that is also available on the 5-door Clio, the S has things like electric windows, CD radio, heated electric windows and more.

Potential buyers can choose between three engine options including a 75hp 1.2 litre 16V, a 100hp 1.2 litre TCe as well as an 86hp 1.5 litre dCi. Four body colours are available including Glacier White, Pearl Black, Capsicum Red (pictured above) and Extreme Blue. More images can be found after the jump!

    First? Paul, you know the price tag? Don't know why, I feel like the interior plastic like Savvy when I look at the dashboard….if above 100K then sound over price!

    i agree. renault performance team is better than mazda's. still, either is better than proton's R3 (Rempit, Rogol, Rubbish)

    savvy 1.2L renault engine is not "sport" like renault clio S, sure is savvy no better than clio S. look at the specs i can tell straight away……….

    provided that savvy is lighter than clio S 1.2L, i also can tell straight away savvy will perform better than what so called clio S 1.2L
