This is not the first time Subaru doing the Outback/Outback Sport version of their models. Previous Imprezas & Legacys came with this version too. When the Outback came out, they released that grey plastic cladding onto the car as well. If anything, this model is supposed to give more practicality and versatility but without the weight of the Forester/Legacy wagons perhaps?
