According to a report published by Automotive News, Ford will rebadge the all new Focus as a Mercury. Apparently Ford revealed to its dealer network that it plans slap on the Mercury badge on a redesigned Focus and some are saying that the vehicle will be called the Tracer. With its market introduction expected to take place in 2011 the rebadged Focus should help give Mercury a breath of fresh air as we have not heard much about the brand for a while now.

I don't know why Ford have so many brands selling the same car? Can't they use Mercury to sell only SUV while Ford sells cars?
Ahh.. Mercury Tracer. They revived the Tracer name again. The first Mercury wearing the Tracer name is in early '90s if I'm not mistaken.. on a rebadged Ford Laser.
