With the Kleemann boost kit the engine will have 210HP. The header with downpipe and sports cat will bring another 12-15HP. You will be definitely satisfied with the boost kit. Just send me your tel. number, I will contact you and explain all details and price to you.

Im interested with your W212 e250 kit, what is the cost? Do i need to change the air filter and the exhaust system to fully accomodate the upgrade?

So, it’s a piggy back ECU device or something similar to that am I right? Is Kleemann planning any upgrades of the headers and exhaust systems? The C250 CGI/E250 CGI coupe’s single oval tailpipe is a let down, in terms of style. Does Kleemann stock some form of tailpipe that’s similar to that of the E350 CGI, i.e. twin tail pipes?

1. To be honest (as always), we did not install any kit yet, since those cars are still under warranty. So we target currently the parallel imported CGI’s.
2. It is a device, which is pluged in between the ECU and boost pressure sensor, camshaft sensor and throttle value sensor. No changes on ECU and headers required.

Kleemann has now a CGI performance kit, initially for the 250CGI. The one for the 180CGI and 200CGI will follow soon.
The performance values for the 250CGI are:
From 204 to 255-260 HP and from 310 to 357 – 360 NM

The 2003 model has 163 stock HP. You will get +37HP and +60 Nm.
Depending on the ECU version installed we can install either the K-Box kit or the boost kit.
The kits comprises of pulley kit, V-belt, high air flow filter and either K-box or ECU software upgrade.
Under normal driving condition the fuel consumption remains the same, unless you use the additional HP available, which would require more fuel (law of physics).
The installation takes only a few hours. There is only a time delay for us to get the software back from Kleemann, since the time difference to Europe is 6 hours. The cost is RM 7500 at the current exchange rate.

1. ECU power kit (ECU upgrade+K&N high air flow filters)
2. Exhaust headers
3. Super sport camshafts.

Thanks for your reply. With that said, are you suggesting that the mods from Carlsson is pointless as it will be replaced by Kleeman’s K2 mods? So the power output will max out at 230bhp and 310Nm? Is that the best the C200K can offer?

The boost kit (K1) for the M271 engine from Kleemann includes the water pump pulley, crankshaft pulley and high air flow filter from K&N. K2 is the header kit, this means K2 = K1+header kit.

A modified C250CGI might be slightly more powerful than the C200K, but not by much. That is my guess. I think your expected power will not be achieveable without further drastic modification to the engine. This would be very costly and I would not recommend to do it. Your expected power per 1000cc is 166HP, which is extremely high for a normal production engine. For example, the Ferrari F430 has only! 114 HP/1000cc!
