1. Accelerator doesn't return to initial position

2. Breaks can't overpower the potent VVTi powerplant.

3. What would you do when we were driving manual tranny cars?

a) keep on pressing the breaks?

b) pick up your cellphone and dial relatives?

c) downshift to lower gear?

d) shift to Neutral and disengage the drive train

e) make a video for YouTube

The world's largest automaker got to get the the sudden-acceleration bug fixed for good. Without doubts, there are people who are hurt and/or killed in the US and Japan because of this problem. FT-86 or not, Toyota once unquestionable reliability has suffered a colossal dent. The response so far is totally unsatisfactory and an unrepetence and stubborn denial is sickening.
