As mentioned in our previous article, we have recently visited Team Lotus’ Formula 1 factory in Norfolk, UK. We have already given you a report on the factory tour and we promised that we will give you a feature video which centers around interviews with Jarno Trulli, Heikki Kovalainen and Chief Technical Officer Mike Gascoyne.
You can check out the feature video after the jump and stay tuned as we will bring you more interview footage including ones with Trulli’s Race Engineer and Graham Watson who is the Race Team Manager.
UPDATE: We have added three videos that separately showcase the interviews with Jarno Trulli, Heikki Kovalainen and Mike Gascoyne.

great piece of interviews although some of the issues can be describe as outdated due to late publish of this entry.
anyway; you should ask mike gascoyne about more technical stuff rather than just asking common ground issues. Things like KERS; I know lotus will not use KERS at the start of the season but there’s a report they might use it at the second half of the season; maybe mike can give more insight on that; and what’s the latest on 2011 car development and all that.
overall; good interview. hopefully there’ll be more technical stuff insight from trulli’s race engineer for next year car.
did you manage to interview Tony by the way?
Unfortunately we couldn’t. Apart from the drivers and Gascoyne, we interviewed a few more team personnel including some engineers and we were given about 10 minutes with each, but we managed to get slightly more time with some of them.
50mins?
TL;DW, so what’s it about? Anyone can summarise? A transcript?
We are in the the midst of splitting the three interviews actually.
Kesian iCar Singapore…
Why?
I mean quality of reporting is good up to a point. Have you been to their website and look at the comments/feedback? I know they’re your source of F1 news Paul. But it needs a bit of polishing. 50 min of bandwidth hogging video is not good. I guess they should do a bit of post production.
Dear bobdbilder,
iCars Singapore is actually part of the company that runs Paultan.org. It is a site that we are testing for the Singaporean market. Furthermore the only relationship iCars Singapore has with this story is that we use it’s Youtube channel to house this video. The video was taken by us and it’s my voice you hear actually.
Regarding quality I hope you understand that this video is for web purposes only and it wasn’t taken for television quality. It was shot with one handycam. We also understand that 50 minutes is too long which is why we began to spilt the three interviews into there and we hope to put them up today.
Thank you.
maybe he does know that u guy actually wrote the article
why
the design / color combination of lotus racing car is inspired by taxi in Mumbai when Tony was having a holiday there. (assumption)
