boxy and wheel at end of four corners will translate to better interior space… but looks like a loaf of bread… Center gravity(body roll) also higher as its tall, SWB and not width…
suit ferry kids to school, go market…. just suits city drive…
they hav no problem with that…eg if mitsu able to sell 500 per month suzuki also gain profit through royalties without selling by themself..easy profit by suzuki
ppl bigger market…not like in Malaysia everything is limited….
there isn’t any problem too if perodua rebadge a proton…as long as the look is diff n fitted with some own tech n design…
that’s how business works dude. re-badge usually is use to overcome local regulations, brand-minded people in certain countries, as well as short-term solution in doing business, etc, etc.
When P1 re badge Mitsubishi Lancer , people will bash P1.
But when Mitsubishi re-badge Suzuki, why people dont bash Mitsubishi like P1??
Anyone explain!!
Solio is quite a good car compared to compact car such as Kenari & Hyundai Matrix. Handling and cornering speed is great (for a tall kei-car) and not to mention the trim quality is quite refined. But then again, boxy cars aren’t too much of a seller (except for Alphard) in Malaysia.
Still, I don’t understand why dumb hicks are so agitated by the word re-badge…
No need for P1 to rebadge ma…. Price tag high or low doesnt effect. Itu petrol juga as primary concern. Because Malaysian like jimat minyak rather than safety. Lol…. empty pocket minded…..

the title says it all…

nothing to shout about…

=)
That car would appeal in Malaysian market (if it ever landed on our shore) – a Kenari replacement
Cute – restyle kenari?
more likely boxy restyle honda jazz/fit ..
Suzuki APV / Mitsubishi Maven replacement?

Guess the creativity on design can be made better by 5 and 6 year old… such a horrible design and they want to market this. Yuks!
