New shots of F12 6-Series Convertible from Cape Town

BMW are currently having international media test drives of the new BMW 6-Series Convertible in Cape Town, Africa, and they’ve uploaded some on-location images snapped from the event to their press archive.

There’s even a shot of the new 6-Series with an Individual package (look at the nice white leather!) next to the outgoing model, as well as shots of the 6-Series in the 2010 World Cup Stadium in Cape Town.

Enjoy the new hi-res images after the jump, or visit our previous story for the initial set of hi-res images of the new 6-er drop top.

Haha…Both are ugly. Need a lot of makeup (i.e bodykit and etc) to convince ourselves that it looks good. Totally agreed that the current one looks better. 335 coupe is the best looking, hope BMW designer spoilt it sooner.

I have to agree here. The car looks great, interiorly. Exteriorly, is quite horrible. A lot of BMW fanboys will not agree with mehere. I say it looks like a Citroen Xsara II from the front :P

This what happens when BMW is too busy designing cars to go head to head with Merc’s offering. This also reminds me of the Merc R171

New gen cars are supposed to look better. This one definitely doesn’t. The outgoing model looks way more menacing.

And what’s up with that old fashioned headlights design??

Rather than a sport luxury look of the previous gen,it now just look luxurious without being sporty.not a bad thing, though, but not a good thing either.

the old car has presence….it turns heads..im sure almost everyone here has took a long hard look at one at some point in the carpark or the road etc….coupes are all about PRESENCE..thats their main reason of existence…..the new one sadly does not follow this theme…it will be a good car nontheless as this guys rarely screw up….but its too bland to be considered a great coupe./convertible

Why did they not use head light and grill concept from the Vision Efficient Dynamics concept? That looks so much cooler….. this is just plain 7 series without a boot.
