if you take Toyota/Honda for example, they sold more cars in US compared to Malaysia. so they mark-up the price here for better profit margin. Prius in USA is just RM70-85k, including tax. how come, with just 10% sales tax here, the price jumped to RM140k? even if you deduct RM10k for AP cost, the price is almost double here than USA!
Mini and BMW is much smaller market… go figure.
