Yet another world premiere for Geneva, in the form of the MINI John Cooper Works Countryman. The car will be the sixth JCW model in the current MINI range and the first to wear ALL4 all-wheel drive. It’s also the first JCW variant to also offer a six-speed automatic gearbox as an option.
The car is equipped with a 1.6 litre twin-scroll turbocharged mill offering 218 hp and 280 Nm (300 Nm in overboost), and performance figures are a 0-100 km/h time of 7.0 seconds and a 225 km/h top speed (223 km/h for the automatic version).
Kit includes an aerodynamic kit, sports suspension, sports exhaust system, 18-inch
light-alloy wheels and DSC stability control with DTC as standard. Also fitted as standard are sports seats, a sports steering wheel, and model-specific displays and controls. Options include exclusive Chili Red contrasting paintwork for the roof and exterior mirrors as well as 19-inch light-alloy wheels.
