all i can see is how many power under the hood, comparing brand names, and dissing these new kind of sports car.

typical malaysian wannabe hardcore american like muscle car head. if bhp is all u seek, why dont u go using europe cars, those beemers and mercs and audis and ferraris and lambos. power without control is nothing. (fav car is the new hachi roku)

for those who wondering why they were cucuk-ed, like some who already acknowledge it, it because you were road hoggers, or driving lousy. it doesnt matter how fast u go, if the cars behind u are much faster, go to side brotha.

but then, u ppl like to dissing out protons and peroduas doesnt it? doesnt happens with the vw, audis or whatever else with brand names at the same speed. hey, im not promoting bawak laju laju, but we all do that dont we? go slow, moves aside. simple.

abt crz, that tax exemption is one tempting offer and although it rides sweet, fun car, easy to get 200hp (power does matter after all) thru relatively affordable price, that battery. wouldnt suit me. drive. i drive my cars hard. haha

I totally agree with you ! A real driver doesnt need to “tapao” anyone . Thats a job for and insecure and immature “AHBeng” driver who has no finesse and skills to drive . If you really wanna “tapao” , go to Sepang circuit , less risk of causing accidents

Any idiot can chuck a turbo in a car and make it perform. And it’s an idiot who compares a forced induction car to a normally aspirated one in terms of pure performance. Having fun driving a car is not all about brute force but is a combination of balance, response, handling and that indefinable fun factor. If enjoyment comes merely from being able to “ta bao” another car then that’s more about oversized egos than driving pleasure.

Apa la lu orang semua! This car rocks for rm115k. For me the 70k tax break is a no brainer to get this car, where can u get that kinda discount for a car here.

I guess most of you have already made up your mind about crz, but pls go test drive it before dissing it. I did & it won me over, Its a fun car & sometimes u just cant help cucuking once in a while when u drive a 6 speed manual. Its value for your RM, its by all means not a lousy car being honda or hybrid & all.

in tat case… many na car can tapao turbo’s during peak hrs @ in front sg wang plaza

Manual 6 speed hybrid is fun car, good mid-torque (probably helped by electrice motor), and good handling.

Small issue are back seat too small for coupe, lack of steering feel at low speed and ride a bit harsh at speed.

BTW, 12.4 km/ltr is about 8ltr/100km (based o writer’s occassion) is not bad. But dont be surprise that a remap 2.0ltr turbodiesel with 180hp 400nm can do better or equally as good.

I’m a Toyota fan but its disappointing that Toyota will all that advanced hybrid technology, still unable to (or maybe not interested) in investing in the “sports/sporty” hybrid segment. The new 86 is currently the only sports car being offered by Toyota, and its too pricey for most of us Malaysians. Kudos to Honda for their effort in the CRZ sporty hybrid and with its low price and tax exemption for countries like us, we can enjoy such performance orientated vehicle at a low price.

Without a doubt, of course any Toyota hybrids performs better than any other car makers hybrids la… In terms of reliability, km/litre( which Honda fails to beat with all 3 of their hybrids) , co2 emmisions( which Honda fails to beat with all 3 of their hybrids), comfort and technology… Please remember, Toyota builds their hybrid cars from recycled materiel and when the car lifespan is up, up to 90% of the car is recyclable.. They have always had that Green moto for their hybrids… Honda however, just builds hybrids for the sake of capturing hybrid fans or to compete with Toyota.. But they have never once boasted about ultra low co2 emmisions , recyclable materials, etc… Please understand the green concept from Toyota, and understand the design and speed concept from Honda… Toyota hybrids = REALLY LITERALLY environmental friendly with ultra low fuel consumption. Honda hybrids = sporty looks but forget about being really truly environmental friendly.

Malaysians just love to bash anything and everything. We seem to pretty negative and emotional about things nowadays. You get cucuk, you no shiok but when you cucuk people, you shiok. Every single car that’s been reviewed gets bashed here. Cheap car get bashed for having cheap plastic, expensive car get bashed for not being powderful enough compared to the cheap car. Ada hybrid, complain lousy FC. Ada turbo, complain minyak mahal (well, that’s true btw). Malaysians are really so advanced and hard to please…and everyone seems to be doing real well too since a 110k + car is considered cheap crap and getting a getting a Polo GTI is just ‘adding a few bucks more’. I must be really missing something here. I think the best is.. no need to even vote wisely, just have a dictator and sell only 1 car model here..no need to have so many brands and models.

PS: I don’t own a CRZ but have drove it before. Fun little car to drive. I’m not a H salesman either.

Guys, based on Honda Japan website, the CRZ is rated at 22.8km/L for CVT and 20.6km/L for 6MT. http://www.honda.co.jp/CR-Z/webcatalog/ecology/

So I really don’t understand what’s the fuss about it even some jokers comparing the FC with other substandard cars such as the VIOS? C’mon guys, get a life!
Also Honda invested quite a lot of R&D in developing the CRZ and it has he lowest drag coefficient that any of the cars you guys are comparing it above.
Also note that due to the tax exemption, Malaysians are getting premium quality car and the CRZ that is being sold here is the highest spec which is the Alpha Black Edition that retails at around RM100k in Japan.

I do not mean to offend, but I’ve re-read what you’ve wrote just in case it’s my mistake. But you indeed wrote ‘Any turbocharged car easily “ta-Bao” crz.’
