Haha! It still a rip off even with the discount given. They should offer discount on service as parts but not rubbers. Doubt how many will have their rubber change at UMW?

    I always thought that:

    2-tyres means free balancing
4-tyres means free balancing and alignment

So UMW charges for balancing and alignment. Hence, all in cost, is there still a discount. Also, watch out for date of manufacture of tyres.

Its already week 30 of 2012, hence, most tyres should be already 2012 tyres or at the latest + 4011 tyres.

Any later tyres, better you go back to your normal tyre shop.

Toyota is one of the strongest Japanese cars on the market. It’s corporate social responsibility of them to offer such services.

Guess they are trying to clear old stock as most people change their tyre at outside tyre shop. I still think it is not cheap as claimed. Most shop give free alignment and balancing when install new tyres. Some even free N2 gas.

  • what is so ‘promotion’ about this? They only sell those crappy tyres and most probably old stocks. Tyres may be cheaper but they will charge for allignment and balancing so end up still paying more.
