Perodua UK offers free wheel and tyre upgrade for Myvi Sport buyers

Perodua UK offers free wheel and tyre upgrade for Myvi Sport buyers

For a limited time only, Perodua UK is throwing in a set of 16-inch Ravenna alloys and tyres for Myvi Sport buyers, at zero cost. The wheel and tyre package, worth over £1,100 (RM5,500), is offered to those who purchase an Ivory White or Ebony Black Myvi Sport or Sport+ SXi. The deal is limited to a selected number of vehicles and works on a first-come, first-served basis subject to availability.

The Myvi Sport was available in the UK from 2010, featuring an all-round bodykit, colour-matched side mouldings, chrome door handles and ‘imitation quad exhausts,’ amongst others. It retails for £7,799 (RM39,000).

The Sport+ costs a further grand (in pounds sterling) up on that price, offering a leather and Alcantara interior with red and grey stitching on the seats. It comes with Perodua’s current £1,000 retail incentive offer that is valid until September 30.

Recently Perodua UK made the Myvi available on the Motability Car Scheme, which helps the disabled obtain a new car.

Yep. Perodua is too desperate in UK!
Since, It is not diesel so European won’t favored it. In UK, who want to buy Perodua where there is other cheaper and more reliable alternative like Kia’s, Peugeot, Citreon or even Volkswagen

What an embarassment to the people of Malaysia.
Can’t picture a Brit forking out nearly 8,000 pounds to own this piece of shit.

I don’t call that sporty, 16 inch wheels are over sized, 15′ is the best upgrade. For that amount of $ on upgrade option, I’d rather do it myself which would be like 10 times better & cost probably half the cosmetic price.

Depends if you are going for German/Jap ori rim or Cap ayam brand – the so called Myvi rim in M’sia.

This is not fare for Malaysia buyers whom have been faithful to Perodua. Why can’t they offer such deal to our fellow Malaysia? Are we in any way deserve inferior spec cars here or we are not getting what we pay for.

Perodua has admitted losing money on each Myvi it sells to maintain its 0.02% market share in the UK. It would be cheaper to close the dealer network and give the cars away for free.

i don’t see any logic why it has to be more expensive in malaysia? and the UK citizen have higher purchasing power than malaysian.

i doubt it. If your uncle is supplier for perodua.. and perodua request your uncle to provide alcantara etc at the same price as normal spec… your uncle will just say.. over my dead body… you oso dont want to work OT for free right…. what kind of statement is this

i think this is Perodua UK own initiatiave to sell the car. as far we know, Perodua only appoint distributor for overseas market and no direct marketing approach from P2 Malaysia.

UK is all about putting their cars in the crusher.

Trust me, Myvis will end up there like Impreza and others.
