Remember the Tata Telcoline pick-up truck? Here’s a just launched successor called the Tata Xenon. The Xenon is a basic, utilitarian pick-up truck, and this is reflected in the no-frills design, although there’s a unique upswept window line on the rear doors of the double cab.
The Xenon comes with two engine options, a 3.0L diesel engine with turbo and intercooler, and a 3.0L DICOR commonrail diesel engine. The former makes just 72 hp and 223 Nm, but the DICOR fares better with 115 PS and 300 Nm of torque. Tata also has a Euro 5 2.2L DICOR with variable geometry turbo, 150 PS and 320 Nm. Two variants are available – single cab and double cab.
Highlights include best-in-class points such as a service interval of 15,000 km and a warranty of 300,000 km, or three years. The single cab Xenon has a large 8 X 4 feet (244 X 122 cm) bed with drop sides, which tops the segment. The Xenon is priced from 5.44 lakhs ex-showroom Mumbai (RM30,487).

other than price tag nothing attracting.. the design looks like 10 years ago..
Just launched successor? If i am not mistaken, Tata Xenon was launched a long time ago (2006 or 2007) I remember it because i lived in Mumbai at that time.
May be this is the improved/facelifted version?
from what i know it the pick-u(nissan vannate pick-up truck look alike) thats the (TATA) just launch…. Not pickup like navara/hilux . This Xenon already launch long ago… aging dah pun..
Very competitive price.
That is just dirt cheap la ! Sigh…
To think that RM 60K+ is cheap. Sigh …
hahahah …
sorry mate, china seems to progress much faster than indian truck manufacture.
anyway, my bro’s company provided this truck years back, it was the telcoline… sorry to say, the 1st day we got into the car, it is already old. 30km/h on the odo feels like doing 15km/h.
But the name very futuristic…
No xenon headlights on a car named ‘xenon’?
