VIDEO: Aston Martin AM 310 Vanquish in motion

Aston Martin has released the first official dynamic footage of its new AM 310 Vanquish, an example finished in Hammerhead Silver being captured tearing up and down the Italian countryside.

The Vanquish is powered by a normally-aspirated 6.0 litre V12 lump offering 565 hp and 620 Nm, and performance specs include a 0-100 km/h time of 4.1 seconds and a 295 km/h top speed.

Plenty of kit on the two-door coupe, which wears 20-inch alloys and 255/35 front and 305/50 rear Pirelli P Zero rubbers as standard, among them a three-stage adjustable Adaptive Damping System (ADS) with Normal, Sport and Track mode, ventilated carbon ceramic discs and six-pot front/four-pot rear brake calipers.

There’s also a full-grain leather interior with Alcantara headlining and a 1,000 watt Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 15-speaker audio system as standard fit. First deliveries of the AM flagship – available in 2+2 or 2+0 guise – is set to begin late this year.

  • May not be the fastest or best handling super sports car out there but that engine note… MAMAMIA! Almost worth buying just for that. The sexy exterior lines and eye-candy interior doesn’t hurt either :)

4-doors? why not 2 doors front and a sliding door at rear passenger (VAN)? Why not taller with 4doors (SUV)? Why not a sedan? WHy not you go jump to the sea or make like tree and leave?
