I just bought the VW passat sportline 1.8 Tsi, it is so far fantastic. I am very satisfied with VW and their services too.

Dude. Did anyone ever told u its year 2012?

In this decade, 1.4l turbo cars can produce more hp and torque than your ancient 2.0liter from toyota.

Korean cars RV while still not great, aint 75 percent in a year.

We have sent men to the moon and back.

Car buyers are more concerned about safety these days than 20 years ago. Hence, toyota can no longer fool their customers ( except u ) with a 180k car without stab control. 6 airbag is the norm nowadays that even some cars <100k can provide. And FYI, airbags do deploy when a collision is detected. So don't come here and spread baseless lies that they don't deploy unless u have proper proof.

And the percentage of thinking malaysians ( middle class ) has gone up. So don't bother making baseless accusation or coffee shop talk as you will just show the whole world, the kind of education level u have.

Been driving a Ckd passat for almost 5 months now. Though it is not a perfect or 5 star car….it is indeed a very good car. And yes…i guess the sport version of passat is the better choice for cars in the D segment. One dont have to buy this VW Passat or Passat Sport if he or she is a person with the tagline ” NO PERFECTION NO BUY “. TQ

i bet u haven’t test drive any latest german car yet.
that’s why your choice is camry.
i used to be like that when i owned an accord at best. but once u’ve tested the passat/mondeo/a4, only u realize japs are still way behind.

Those of ppl who deciding which car to buy is so easy, choose camry. Congrate to those choose camry. My father 2.4 camry i driving for 2 years is so reliable. Next time i earn more money i buy back latest camry

My roc had rattling noise on day 3, solved after 8 months of numerous visits to SC.
Passat CC within 1 month dashboard already got rattling sound.
BMW 320d, no complains so far after 6 mths.
H Stream, no rattling noise after 6 months.

Maybe, VW cars still not fully acclimatised for
MY’s hot weather. Hence the clips and holders might be affected due to the hot (day) and cold (night)temperature for MY.

thats why have to go to CC..
get the 2L CC (with 6 speed DSG)..

the B7 passat still have issue correct as what u mentioned..

also 7 speed DSG still has minor setback..
always go for 6 speed DSG partnered with their 2L TSI or 3.6NA for trashing thrill..

Passat is kind of entry level with 1.8..
Should go for CC 2L..
Way faster and smoother and dynamic compare to Mondeo.

Presently i had both car one with DSG and one Powershift.
So far both 2 years old already never had issue with either gearbox..
BUT at anytime the DSG can bite Powershift..

Anyway; a conti still over rule the Jap or Korean :)
