This is the standard benchmark power output of archaic, prehistoric European 1.4L & 1.6L DOHC engine. Not modern at all. Why?

The latter power output (i.e. 1.6L), is exactly the claimed power output of the ‘acclaimed’ campro 1.6L engine (the campro thats “tak pro” i.e. no CPS).

Imagine this much criticised campro engine in a civic, altis, forte, jetta. Emmm..

Now, imagine the same campro engine in a camry, accord, sonata, optima, 508 or errr.. passat?
Got the picture?
Feel the power (always not there when you need it)?

If proton do something like this, most would bitch up to high heavens, right?

But since this is the much crazed Das Auto…
Few will openly criticise this product.
Even the choice of language, approach and opinion in this article is subdue and plain. Strictly professional, facts and figure. Well, maybe since it not heading here, so there is no need to sharpen the knife on this one.

I doubt how would the Passat owners feel.
Santana shows no identity at all coz C-segment car should displays more daring and dynamic…
Luckily, this car is only main for China, mostly for taxi I guess. Most of china taxi are Santana…
