Hyundai has released this solitary teaser pic of its HCD-14 concept, which it’ll be bringing to next week’s Detroit motor show. The carmaker says the concept will offer “a glimpse into future Hyundai premium vehicle design, advanced 3-D gesture-based technology controls, and spirited driving dynamics,” but divulges nothing else.
With such demure, yet provocative body lines, how could we just leave it at that? Reports say the HCD-14 could possibly hint at the next-gen Hyundai Genesis‘ styling. If this is substantiated, then by the looks of it, the Audi A7, BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe and Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class are going to have a new competitor.
The HCD-14 is so named because it’s Hyundai’s California Design studio‘s 14th product, according to Auto Express. More specifics when the wraps officially come off, so stay tuned!

The first thing that came in mind after seeing that is that Hyundai just Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V the Audi A7 side profit, seriously… the similarities is uncanny.
Other than that, there is no doubt this may be a looker with that side profile, may…..like all concept car. I don’t think that A7 side profile will make it to the Genesis, spy shot have already shown the next Genesis with a Infinity like side.
I know, all Korean are not patriotic at all, as nobody critised the usage of an English name Genesis instead of a classic Korean word in Korean Language.
Then you will be bashing “Oh god, the Korean expects everyone to understand their language?”
nuff said hater.

should i feel sad for the car? its too brilliantly designed, the badge will eventually be its main pitfall.
people buying car base on their preferences specification , performance, dreams car. And Malaysian as me, RV is main concerns due to……
ya you’re right people buy car base on spec, performance…but all Korean car have a suck performance/handling.
What if they offer 10 years warranty? Like in US? No, nope. Not until we remove all the protectionism, proton, etc
Hmm, spirited driving dynamics, welcome & congrats.
Attentions are needed on reliability and durability if a brand starts to enter high-end market.
