Mercedes Benz said there would be no AMG variant of the E class coupe because it will come close to the CLS AMG in price and spec being a premium version of the E. The car would also threaten the position of the C63 AMG which is design to be the M3 fighter. Mercedes would leave the M6 fighter to the CLS or SL AMG. But who knows maybe they’ll change the mind in the future.

Crap, I’am taking this then, far more sexy and svelte than the the E class Facelift AMG (I still don’t like that car look, no offense). 4 wheel drive is good for taming that Krakatoa size torque.
