Hyundai i10 – limited-edition Colourz introduced

UPDATE: Official Hyundai-Sime Darby brochure scans added

Nothing like adding some colour to spruce things up, and Hyundai has done just that with its little i10. An ad touting a limited-edition version bearing a veritable spread of new shades has been spotted on oto.my.

The Colourz, as it’s called, introduces a complete body kit, new front grille, leather seats and a new wheel design to the car, on top of the fresh colour spread. Seven shades are on call, these being Tangy Orange, Aquamarine Blue, Peach White, Carbon Grey, Passion Purple, Lavender Pink and Ice Silver.

No changes to the mechanicals, with the 1.25 litre Kappa mill and four-speed auto continuing as is in this LE variant, which is priced at RM56,000, according to the ad.

Well, how bout instead of giving more variants and becoming like Perodua, why not you try and speed up the repair of my i10? Engine trouble in 7000kms, they suspect ECU failure, but not so sure. Still waiting after more than 1 week.

For that UMW is better, they repair stuff faster.

(Sam Loo, you better not start about RV, cause this has nothing to do with RV and your Hilux.)

I own an 8 months old i10 colorz 1.25K dual CVVT. 5 setbacks.. Very high FC contrary to claim, frequent downshift, poor pick up, disturbing wind noise and poor audio. Side skirting keeps getting loose even after repair.

Otherwise this is a steady n comfortable car. I just wish the customer service centre is more accountable n responsible to address my grievances. A lame answer.. “you are getting better mileage as other colorz even scored worse mileage (280 km per full tank vs 300 km per full time).. huhu..
