Lamborghini has announced the introduction of the Gallardo GT3 FL2 as part of its GT3 motorsport programme for 2013 and 2014. The car, based on the 2013 model year Gallardo, has been developed by German-based company Reiter Engineering, in collaboration with Lambo’s R&D motorsport department.
The car features an aero kit, a new front splitter, a rear carbon diffuser based on that developed for the Super Trofeo as well as ‘24-hour’ brakes, improved engine cooling and reduced fuel consumption. Weight is also down, the FL2’s weight reduced by 25 kg over the previous Gallardo GT3.
Although Reiter has successfully developed its own Lamborghini GT cars since 2000, securing 199 victories and 350 podium positions within GT championships in the past five years, it’s the first time it has co-developed a GT3 offering directly with Lamborghini.

This is what you cannot do with a Lambo: Too loud, too hard, too hot (the engine is 10cm behind your back).
