Next Bike – the official distributor for Ducati in Malaysia – has introduced a pre-owned programme that offers Ducati bikes at irresistible prices and opens the likes of the Monster 795 and Diavel Chrome to a wider audience by making the entry price a cheaper proposition.

Ducati enthusiasts are encouraged to check out the pre-owned bikes and track bikes made good as new at the Ducati Malaysia Pre-owned showroom housed within the Ducati Centre in Petaling Jaya.

The Ducati Malaysia Pre-owned showroom displays a wide range of models ranging from the Monster 795 to the top-of-the-line 1199 Panigale. The pre-owned units consist of used bikes, company demo bikes and unregistered bikes used for the Ducati Riding Experience (DRE) during Asia Ducati Week 2012.

These are available at very affordable prices, the company says, citing examples such as the Monster 795 from RM52,888 and the Diavel Chrome at RM115,888. All the pre-owned units have been checked and certified by Ducati after-sales personnel, with the option of a one-year extended warranty. The purchase of a pre-owned unit brings about eligibility to become a full-fledged member of Ducati Club Malaysia.

    • Well, from my previous readings in paultan, they consider it to be cheap! Even a RM300k Merc is “extremely affordable”! (true quote)

Rubbish bikes usually owned by children of BN cronies. Yes, when you get free money through corruption, buying a RM100,000 bike is not a problem.

Fresh air, magnificent engine between legs, not caged, lane splitting, excuse for a leather jacket… two seats? Solo seat cowls and it become a single seater!

All about perspective, but I do agree 52k is overpriced for a used bike.

    • there are affordable cars alongside multimillion supercars

there are affordable bikes alongside your “overpriced” superbikes.

see the word “super” there? “super” things for “super” money. no “super” money, go hypermarket buy supervalue items, get it? if not, go climb up some building, be a superman.

overpriced? it’s a matter of perspective. i want the diavel and for it’s price, i’d still buy it.

    • A 1199 Panigale is 195hp@164 kg = 0.84kg/hp

      Imagine a Nissan GT-R (1762kg) with the same power/weight ratio: 1762kg/0.84kg/hp = 2098hp ;)
