VIDEO: Lexus LFA and LF-LC concept car on track

Did the promise of the headline pique your interest? It did for us, the super-rare screamer that is the Lexus LFA and one of the sexiest recent concept cars, side-by-side, on track! It didn’t turn out that way, unfortunately, but it’s still good to see the duo together, living proof that Lexus can make desirable cars for those who love cars.

The Lexus LF-LC Concept was first shown at Detroit 2012, where the red stunner won the EyesOn Design Award for best concept car. Lexus then brought one to the Sydney Motor Show, wearing a handsome Opal Blue suit. So far this year, it has made stops at the Thai Motor Expo and Seoul Motor Show.

Recently, Wards’s Auto reported that the Lexus LF-LC has been pretty much green lighted for production as a coupe with a price tag similiar to the flagship Lexus LS limo, according to Lexus VP of marketing Brian Smith. They should, just because it looks so good. Gallery here.

  • what could be better than a car with the looks of the LF-LC combine with the finesse and power-train(5.0 V10) of the LFA.

Only blind people will like LFA!
Because they can’t see but hear the symphony of the best sounding V10 road car.

    • hv u driven the ferrari, lambo, etc to come out such statement? Your perception of the LFA is no good is only based on those car megazine reviews…exmple: the LFA is slower by 3 seconds compared to the 458 italia, and this makes u think the LFA is lousy? Try not to be so shallow minded.

What I mean is although LFA doesn’t looks good, but sounds definitely great. I know how much technology had gone into the car, V10 smaller than their V8 and lighter tgan their V6. People complain about it looks, speed and price but they don’t know the technology and quality of this car. Evwn Jeremy Clarkson said this is the best car he ever driven.

This car has the pure Japanese unique radical look, typical of Lexuses from Toyota MC.

  • Not actually, from 0 to 96km/h, the GTR is faster becoz of it’s 4-wheel setup which prevents wheel slip, but beyond that to quater miles, the LFA wins…
