Land Rover isn’t just adding smaller models to their series of Range Rover luxury SUVs, it appears they’re also adding bigger models, undoubtedly driven by China’s appetite for long wheelbase models. With the new Range Rover now being up to a massive 350kg lighter model for model, it opens up room for the platform to be enlarged for an even bigger interior room.
Pictured here is a long wheelbase version of the Range Rover, wearing heavy disguise. You can see the difference – thanks to the extended wheelbase, the rear door is longer – the easiest way to observe how much longer is to just measure the length of the top line of the rear window in the comparison picture above.
