Alfa Romeo is rather proud of its involvement in the upcoming blockbuster Fast & Furious 6. Proud enough to release a few print ads to promote the on screen gig, showing off a few of the Giuliettas that were used in the movie complete with its battle scars.
The car choices from previous Fast and Furious instalments have often come under fire: remember the RB26-powered ’67 Ford Mustang and purple Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder? The latest movie appears to feature a classy selection of vehicles picked with taste.
So far we’ve seen the Alfa Romeo Giulietta above of course, and from the glitzy trailer released earlier we can add a Mk1 Ford Escort, a ’69 Dodge Daytona and a Jensen Interceptor III (!) to the list, along with the Dodge Challenger and Nissan GT-R the heroes were driving at the end of the last movie.
Fast and Furious movies have always played on the wrong side of gravity and physics but there’s no denying that being over the top fills the theatres. Now with tasteful and sexy cars in tow, maybe some of those seats will be occupied by car nuts too. You interested?

hope there will be another competition to win pre-screening tickets!
good car, stupid advertising
to be honest i hate the whole damn fast and furious instalment as it gives us petrolheads a rather bad look.
lovely trailer and first of all got to tell it was a super hot one too. most of the young people do want to see it right now and it was a full stretched with the action scenario.
Come on, why not Proton’s turn, the most famous thing that Proton was featured in the TV is when Mr. Bean jammed the Proton Saga/MPi’s exhaust.
