More BMW 2-Series spyshots from Munich, but this time, the “1-Series Coupe” is seen with less swirl camouflage than before. Previous videos and spyshots of the coupe from Nurburgring pictured mules with almost the whole body covered; this time we can see bare red-painted metal on the hood, sides and rear.
The car we see here is most likely the BMW M235i Coupe, the performance flagship of the range. Clues include the aggressive lower front bumper, M alloys, big brakes and blue calipers. The 2-Series performance flagship is likely to share the M135i’s 3.0 litre six-cylinder N55 engine with 320 hp, but in a sexier shell.
Actually, the yet to be launched BMW M235i was recently spied without any disguise on, showing the world that it’s a much better looking coupe than the awkward 1-Series M Coupe. Click here to see the car naked. A peek at its dashboard can be seen here.
