F32 BMW 4-Series Coupe: first photos emerge

bmw-4-series-first-pix-0044

These are the first photos of the all new BMW 4-Series Coupe, and thanks to a good looking concept car preview as well as various spy shots including completely undisguised ones, it’s everything we imagined it to be. For those who still don’t know, BMW has decided to separate the 3-Series Coupe and Convertible line into the 4-Series line, and other than this Coupe, the 4-Series line-up will be joined by a Convertible as well as a Gran Coupe version.

The press kit for the 4-Series hasn’t exactly been released by BMW so we don’t have the full complete details for now. However these pix which found their way onto the net on US and German websites have quite a variety of interior photos with different trim levels to look at, although the overall look of the interior is pretty predictable since it’s based on the 3-Series.

Wheelbase is up by 50mm to 2,810mm while length is now 26mm longer at 4,640mm. The new 4-Series Coupe is 1,830mm wide and 1,360mm tall. We expect the engine variants to be similiar to the 3-Series – there’s a 435i and 420d in these photos, but there will be other models like the 420i and 428i as well.

Stay tuned for full details of the 4-Series, likely tomorrow. For now, enjoy the comprehensive first pictures gallery, or check out our spyshots of the 4-Series Gran Coupe or 4-Series Convertible to have a preview of how the other 4-Series variants will look like.

Where’s the F30 M3? Or will they reveal it together with F32 M4?

What’s the difference to F30 coupe? Interior also same. I know this gonna head to head with A5 Sportsback but at least A5 is quite difference to A4.

Sorry me bad, this is the NEW so called “3-series coupe” but put it in 4 series!

  • looks exactly like a 2-door F30 3-series, not that is bad but I expected something more different than ‘just’ a coupe F30, like the difference between the F10 5er and the F12 6er.

I think BMW Malaysia should still retain/rename it as 3 series coupe. The number 4 not ‘ong’, surely they will lose some sales :D

Sorry, its just not exciting enough. Personally I dont like the droopy front end of the 3 and now the same on the 4. Also dont like the sticky out screen – just like Audis.

Merc C-class and specially E-Class coupe way better…

recent BMWs looking so boring, look at the 5 and 7, boring.
    New X5, X3 – boring

The only hot beemer is the 6 Gran Coupe

BMW is so lazy to design other skin. Only did bontot-job and walla, new car series. After this I expect them to introduce pick-up trucks with similar way!

Dissapointing. Doesn’t look special compared to E92.

This is just a normal f30 series with 2 doors less

  • Did some wannabe designers draw this? It looks terrible!
The rear side view from b-pillar back looks like the S15 Silvia. The front side looks like a Hyundai Tiburon.
I thought only Subaru is capable of designing ugly cars.

The quality of plastics used in the interior of a bimmer is simply appalling. Squeaks and rattle everywhere. Took it to the dealer 5 times but still remains.

Audi is the next car for me. No matter how good looking this is. To me, they are like superstars. Admire from afar. Upclose they are just a bunch of spoilt brats with a drug problem
