You’ve seen the all-new Honda NSX in concept form as early as January 2012, and then again a full year later, this time with a peek at the cabin and an updated exterior that’s closer to the production car’s. Just last week Honda announced that a running prototype will be making an appearance at the Honda Indy 200 in August.
Now, we get to see the sports car in motion for the first time. It’s just a short teaser video of the car running on track, lasting all of six seconds – so don’t be expecting much at all. It does give us a quick listen to the mid-mounted hybrid V6 powerplant though, so as far as short teasers go, this one’s not a complete waste of time.
There’s really not much to see here, so just listen, listen, listen :)

Hmmm, First Impression, not bad for a hybrid, it still has a V6 NA powerplant, so a very natural crisp sound. However, I do think it can be improved, I know its kinda unfair to compare against a racing car, but a CRZ GT300 still has a V6 hybrid motor, and the GT500 HSV-010 sounds godlike.

Nice sound, but nowhere near HSV-010. Honda, this is what your proud Japanese can built, don’t bother the American, they got their muscle car to build.
