Audi’s crushingly dominant streak in Le Mans 24 Hours (a record 12 wins over the last 14 years) is surely turning heads and the German car maker is quick to draw connections between its success and its road cars. Weird though, that the model it has chosen to crown the motorsport links is not the R8 supercar, but the Audi RS6 Avant uber-wagon.
The video ad above places the latest Audi R18 e-tron quattro race car in everyday road car scenarios (picking someone up at the airport, drive down to the lake for a spot of fishing, taking the dogs out for a drive, etc.), before morphing into an RS6 Avant right at the end. Very cool.
Now, the Audi RS6 does not have a diesel engine, nor is it an e-tron hybrid like the endurance racer. But it does have quattro all-wheel drive and with 560 PS and 700 Nm of torque from its twin-turbo 4.0 litre TFSI V8 engine, it’s a seriously quick machine (0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and a 300 km/h top speed with Dynamic Plus package).

Looks like Audi isn’t about to relinquish its Super wagon crown just anytime soon.
Sorry Volvo. I have fond memories of your 850T5 eating unsuspecting Bimmers for breakfast.
F10 M5 is still a better car
mai dah BMW fags yg butthurt
Volvo’s design still looks better. Volvo really should exploit their Polestar division to come out a worthy successor to 850 R. Audi wins on this, but only because Polestar is not making a tuned V60.
Otherwise for normal daily ride, I’d rather the Volvo.
They should put aventador engine instead of this v8. who does not want a car with lambo engine??
would lambo owners want a lambo with an audi wagon engine?
the very definition of uberwagon, would gladly trade my G Livina for this RS6! lol
