After a bunch of very powerful show cars, Polestar finally put out a production Volvo S60 Polestar Limited Edition in Australia as a pilot run. Far less powerful than the 508 hp S60 Polestar Concept car, the production S60 Polestar does 350 hp and 500 Nm from its turbocharged 3.0 litre T6 six-cylinder engine, up from the normal T6’s 300 hp and 440 Nm.
It looks like Polestar could be expanding its range, as our European spies have sighted this V60 Polestar on the ‘Ring, – essentially a wagon version of the S60 Polestar, albeit based on the facelifted version of the estate. We expect the other changes found in the S60 Polestar to continue – a new turbo and engine software, exhaust system, and an uprated suspension system that uses Ohlins shocks.
