The Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class Shooting Brake was just unveiled last year, but Mercedes-Benz is already preparing a facelift. It could debut the same time as the CLS-Class Coupe facelift, which first went on sale in 2011. Looking at a typical Mercedes-Benz lifecycle, this could be sometime next year or early 2015.
Both spyshots of the regular CLS-Class Shooting Brake and the AMG version can be found in this post’s gallery. There will probably be a new headlamp design and some revisions to the tail lamps, and we can already see the shape of the new front grille, which is now curvier than before.
Our spy photographers managed to get one shot of the interior, which proves to be quite interesting. It looks like the M-Class facelift isn’t the only car that will have its once neatly integrated COMAND screen replaced with something that looks like a giant tablet stuck on the dashboard – the CLS-Class facelift will get it as well, and this spyshot shows us how it will look like. It’s just humongous!
I suppose it can’t be helped – all the luxury brands are increasing the size of their infotainment screens, and rather than make the dashboard a double cowled design to fit a larger COMAND screen, they’ve instead decided to switch to the floating tablet design of the newer models.

Perfect hearse!
Macam suprima.
Nice-looking hearse.
the comand dial isn’t the new touch unit. but damn, this is one crazy funeral hearse!!! :P
Don’t blame the hearse comments, estates and wagons aren’t very popular here.
I personally thinks it looks good.
It’s a shame though, cause estates are great. Lots of easily accessible boot space and good looks. Better than those boring sedans. Also, there are some very sexy hearses, and you can put a bed at the back. Nice to travel around with. The only problem is the price… Custom built cars that are heavily modified (the whole rear is new, and the base car has to be stretched) don’t come cheap. Not even second hand…
The front end actually looks pretty good with the camo. Very clean and understated look if integrated properly.
