SPYSHOTS: Porsche Cayenne facelift sighted on test

Porsche-Cayenne-Facelift-1

We’ve seen plenty of spyshots of the upcoming Porsche Cayenne facelift – some as far back as April last year. Looks like there’s a lot of changes planned, then. This new set of photos show the test prototype wearing light disguises around the vital areas. Let’s take a closer look, shall we?

As before, the updated front headlights are covered by stickers that are shaped like the current car’s. It wouldn’t be a far-fetched guess to imagine that the upcoming Cayenne refresher will adopt a sleeker front end that’s closer to those of the newer, smaller Macan and facelifted Panamera.

It’s the same story round the back. Expect slimmer taillamps to appear here, again in line with the ones seen on Porsche’s more recent models. The Macan’s 911 and 918 Spyder-inspired tapering lamps would be a good start. Also taken from the compact SUV are the smaller wing mirrors with integrated indicator strips.

No word yet on what’s under the hood, but the mid-range Cayenne S model is likely to feature the Macan’s new 400 hp/550 Nm 3.6 litre twin-turbo V6 in lieu of the current 400 hp/500 Nm 4.8 litre naturally-aspirated V8 engine. A plug-in hybrid option like the Panamera S E-Hybrid is also possible.

Evoque ? This thing will run circles around the evoque, and its more spacious as well. I do agree that the Evoque looks good , but that’s all it has

Evoque does looks good but its not as fast as the cayenne. Well.. price differentiate both of them.. Evoque starts from 365k while Base Cayenne V6 from 57ok..
