New photos of the Peugeot 5008 facelift have been released by the French car manufacturer, this time featuring a blue paintjob instead of the grey one that made an appearance in August last year.
The facelift brings the 5008 the new family face, which includes a revised grille and bumper as well as reshaped headlamps. There’s also extra chrome on the front and side views.
Inside, there’s new trim and extra chrome on the steering wheel and dashboard. The rear entertainment system has been revised as well, and you can use pair Bluetooth wireless to them so rear occupants can enjoy their entertainment without disturbing the driver.
Engine options start from a 120 horsepower 1.6 litre VTI engine. There’s of course the 1.6 litre THP turbocharged engine with a 156 horsepower, which is what we get in Malaysia, so if the facelifted 5008 makes its way to Malaysia, what’s already under the hood will soldier on.
Diesel engine options range from a 115hp 1.6 litre e-HDI FAP engine up to a 163 horsepower 2.0 litre HDI FAP engine mated to an EGC automated manual gearbox.
Nine new colours are available for the 5008 facelift, including two new ones – Rich Oak and Artense Grey.

If we refer to the interview with COO of Nasim last year , FL 5008 should happen this year in Malaysia, my 2 cents worth said it is going to be about before Raya, but don’t hold your breadth , for it is only my RM0.20
this D-segment MPV expected to arrive here in end of 2nd quarter or early 3rd quarter but price maybe higher than current pre-facelift mpv
omg. a car from the future. after 3000 years it still look like it came from this century. lol
overall ok, except the radiator fan sound which is too loud to me. Anybody noticed the same?
Dear edd, I think the radiotaor fan sound you are talking of is the AC radiator. When we keep AC running all the time, at some point the temperature gets to a limit where an additional fan, which is a high speed fan for keeping the temperature within the limits, takes off. Try using AC only when you feel using it, you will notice that this noise will disappear. You can question why the same sound is not so loud in other cars, the answer is, this car comes with an aluminum block engine, like most european cars. Temperature control is primordial other wise engine performance would suffer.
“EGC automated manual gearbox”?
Wonder how that things work, izzit the same AMT gearbox we found on Proton Savvy?
The revised grille and bumper as well as reshaped headlamps looking good.
