Kia will show off the GT4 Stinger concept at next week’s season opening 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. We’ve already seen two teaser images so far, and here’s a third one, from the top.
What we know is that the GT4 Stinger is powered by Kia’s 2.0 turbo GDI engine with 315 hp, paired to a six-speed manual gearbox sending power to the rear axle. The wheels are 20-inch items with carbon fibre inserts for strength and weight reduction.
Nestled behind them are Brembo Gran Turismo two-piece cross-drilled rotors with four-piston calipers. And underpinning the GT4 Stinger’s ‘Ignition Yellow’ 2+2 body is a custom chassis with an independent double-wishbone suspension. Full details from Detroit next week.

very very sleeq..wanna compete with lexus rc f ?? haha
Credit where it’s due, this car looks menacing. And with RWD, 6 speed manual, it would seriously be a contender. Wonder if Kia is filling the void left by the Japanese makers when they killed off the supra/celica/s2000 etc. Good luck to them! Japan, where is your response?
If it’s as affordable as its supossed to be, I’ll take it. 315hp from a 2liter KIA hatch. Now that’s hot. Its a direct rival to Megane RS, GT86, Sirocco and she sorts, at under RM150k.. why not? Plonk that motor into a Neo at RM115k(same price as the useless Neo Lotus R3 Whatever Edition) and I’ll buy that too.
R8 rip off!
