The Perodua Tweckbot is back – in conjuction with Chinese New Year celebrations and the festive season, the automaker’s social media-based project will be offering its customers a free 50-point vehicle safety check.
Four Perodua Tweckbot teams will be mobilised over a 14-day period throughout the Peninsular to assist Perodua customers in making sure that their vehicle is roadworthy and safe for long distance travel.
Starting from today right up to February 9, the Tweckbot team will be giving free inspections services at selected shopping malls across the country – the programme begins in selected locations in KL and Ipoh this weekend before making its way to Kedah, Johor and Penang in February.
The free inspection programme includes checks on the engine, coolant system (includes coolant level, as well as fan and temperature), brake system (includes brake fluid and brake pad wear), power steering, clutch, tyre check, suspension and electrical system (includes battery, lights and wiper checks).
Customers will be alerted on the location of the Tweckbot team via annoucements on twitter, Facebook, the automaker’s website as well as advertisements in the traditional media – the company adds that customers who send their vehicles to an authorised Perodua service centre after the inspection will be entitled to a 20% discount on parts and accessories.
