SPYSHOTS: Kia Soul EV completely undisguised

The Kia Soul EV will be unveiled at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show later this week. Kia has released a single teaser image of the car’s dashboard, however we have completely undisguised photos thanks to spy photographers who managed to track the car down during an official photoshoot.

Kia also revealed that the Soul EV has achieved UL Environment validation for bio-based organic carbon content for 10% of its interior materials, which is claimed to be the first in the automotive undustry. The Soul EV uses bio degradable plastic, bio-foam and bio-fabric. Unlike previous plastic materials that are based from oils, bio-based materials are derived from biomass, which is a photosynthate.

KIA, they came a long way since rebooted in 1986. Proton should learn from these guys.

PROTON should learn? What?Coming out with Super Value,Sportivos,Turbo charged engines, face lifts….
these are Proton’s specialisation.Which model has emerged as a global seller?
If Proton’s sales keep declining by 15-20 thousand units annually,in2- 3 years time,Toyota UMW would overtake Proton as the number 2 behind Perodua. This is a very bitter pill to swallow,Mr Proton.

no worry, UMW is sinking as well, as their Camry, Altis, Rav4, are sinking as well…

only Hilux and Vios saving them now..

Paul, anyway to block these anti-proton guys? They’re a fricking nuisance every time Korean cars are mentioned. (I’m not a fan of Potong too)

instead of squeezing the rakyat for the money, Protong has zero creativity and innovative to the market…
Its a DR project that conned the nation for YEARS! and we keep silence of it (that is the best part)..

Saw one in China close-up. Looks really cool! Definitely a nice run-about town vehicle.

Like it or hate it….you got to admit the improvement that kia and hyundai made lately…..all that left for them is the ride and handling…
