SPYSHOTS: Next-gen Chevrolet Cruze, inside out

Chevrolet Cruze Spyshots-01

Here are more spyshots of the 2015 Chevrolet Cruze on test in Europe. This time, our Euro snappers caught the next-gen C-segment sedan up close on public roads, with less camo than before.

Now, we can see more of the rear lights as well as the Chevy’s interior, which looks considerably more premium than today’s cabin. There’s a new and big central touch screen, a new design multi-function steering wheel and a stitched dashboard. The latter combines well with lashings of chrome for a posher feel.

Plenty of buttons can be found, including those for an “eco” mode, park assist sensors, voice recognition, and possibly a lane departure system for high-spec cars.

Codenamed D2SC, the 2015 Chevy Cruze will sit on GM’s global Delta chassis, which will also underpin the next Volt, Equinox, and Opel/Vauxhall Astra, among other mid-size models. Production of the new Cruze is expected to start in the middle of this year.

Chevrolet is a brand with lots of potential but sadly NAZA is ruining it all with their poor service and spare part problems.

  • The new Cruze looks awesome inside out in my opinion. The centre console reminds me of a Focus though. Hmm Chevy has awesome cars but they just can’t do well on our grounds. Malaysians are too Japan-centric when it comes to cars, just see how many Sonics we have on the road today. (I’ve only spotted a white hatch once in Penang so far… hmmm)

body roll, brake struggling, not the most exciting car. I wish the car had more horsepower, and better handling esp on b-road.
